Firdavs Erkinov

Data Analyst & Engineer @ International Monetary Fund

Firdavs Erkinov is a Data Analyst and Engineer at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), where he specializes in bridging the gap between backend data engineering and frontend business intelligence. Rather than just designing high-level architectures, Firdavs spends his days hands-on in the trenches—writing PySpark, DAX, and SQL to build out robust data pipelines, and surfacing that data through high-performance, enterprise-grade Power BI dashboards. He is passionate about modernizing legacy workflows and has a unique knack for translating highly complex statistical standards (like SDMX) into agile, user-friendly BI solutions. As a practitioner who navigates the daily realities of strict institutional data governance, he loves sharing practical strategies to help others unlock the full potential of the Microsoft data stack. He holds the Microsoft DP-600, DP-700, and PL-300 certifications.
