David Bowman built Fresh, a SharePoint-native intranet product, in 2015 and leads it today as Product Director at Advania UK. His current work centres on what happens to organisational content once AI systems like Copilot start deciding which internal sources to trust: the internet has spent decades building citation and ranking machinery to mark authority, and most organisations have no equivalent. David developed the Employee Attention Recession thesis, independent research into how ungoverned content and tool sprawl are eroding employee focus, and speaks regularly on the governance work organisations need to do before AI investment actually pays off. Fresh was named ClearBox Consulting's Choice Award winner in 2025 and 2026, with additional recognition this year for Strong Knowledge & Search and AI Innovation.
