Dr. Jaelle Scheuerman is a computer scientist and AI researcher specializing in Human-AI teaming. She earned her PhD in Computer Science from Tulane University, where her research focused on computational models of heuristics, bias, and uncertainty in complex decision environments. Her technical expertise spans interactive machine learning, preference learning, and cognitive modeling, with an emphasis on building adaptive, explainable, and robust systems. Dr. Scheuerman has published peer-reviewed research across artificial intelligence and human-computer interaction and brings a systems engineering mindset to translating AI research into deployable, human-first solutions. At Train with Intent, she focuses on designing AI frameworks that are operational, scalable, and grounded in real-world constraints.
