I am a medical doctor and founder of Open Prometheus®, an evidence-grounded medical AI platform built to help healthcare professionals efficiently access, understand, and contextualize scientific literature. My current work is focused on building trustworthy, transparent, and EU-compliant medical AI systems that support research, education, and non-diagnostic clinical workflows. Open Prometheus accelerates evidence retrieval from peer-reviewed sources and translates complex medical knowledge into structured, source-linked insights - while maintaining clear human oversight and regulatory boundaries. Alongside my entrepreneurial work, I remain closely connected to academic research through my affiliation with the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE), where I have worked on deep learning architectures for musculoskeletal imaging, particularly tibial plateau fracture detection using native X-ray data. This background informs my emphasis on clinical validity, robustness, and responsible AI design. I am currently focused on scaling Open Prometheus® through collaborations with clinicians, research institutions, and healthcare organizations that share a commitment to evidence-based medicine and responsible AI in healthcare.
