Imagine the potential in being able to take everyday wearables, turn them into IoT devices and aggregate real time information into dashboards highlighting issues, trends and producing reports to improve the patient healthcare experience; all delivered through a secure Microsoft Cloud platform.

Join the session as we will run through a example healthcare monitoring workflow that starts with an Apple Watch on your wrist and ends up with actionable patient centric insights in the cloud driven by the Power Platform (with a little help from Azure IoT and FHIR integration on the way 😉)

An apple a day keeps the doctor away - Patient monitoring with HealthKit, Power Apps & Azure

The ease with which applications are created in Power Apps Canvas is known to all, we can prototype/realize applications that run in Web/Mobile mode in a fraction of the time required to do the same thing code-based.

But when the customer asks... Can we graphically embellish it a little bit?
Who has never been asked that question?

The reason is simple, the native Power Apps Canvas controls are not graphically satisfying at all, and changing/adapting the style of those controls often takes longer than creating the application itself.

Fortunately, a solution exists, which is to use the "Creator Kit" that brings "Fluent UI" styling into Canvas Apps.

In this session we will see an overview of this open source PCF control set and see how to create with little effort the template of an Application that has all the classic functionality required by an App, as well as being graphically appealing and integrated with respect to the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
