Chris Bortlik works at Microsoft as the Director of the Boston (Burlington), MA Innovation Hub. The Microsoft Innovation Hub delivers deep technical engagements focused on business outcomes. Our senior architects and engineers lead our customers and partners from ideas to realizing business value– with a range of highly tailored single or multi-day engagements from problem exploration through to technical proof. Chris speaks frequently at Microsoft events (including the Microsoft 365 Conference and Microsoft Ignite) and has also spoken at numerous other events and user group meetings including being the featured keynote speaker at SharePoint Fest, SharePoint Live! and the Microsoft 365 Conference. He is a contributing author of the 'Essential SharePoint 2010' book and a coauthor of the 'Essential SharePoint 2013' book. Prior to joining Microsoft in 2008, Chris was a customer for 14 years working in technical IT architect, development, leadership, and management roles. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Wentworth Institute of Technology and an MBA from Bentley University.
