Currently, he is working in Osijek-based software company Mono as a lead designer. Besides working in Mono, he is a president of Osijek Software City association, which holds more than 80 members including 40 IT companies. As a founder of Digital Design Academy, he worked with numerous designers in creating the jobs in local IT sector. He co-founded the Design of digital interactions — module at the Academy of Arts and Culture in Osijek. And, he is a leader of Designers Initiative Osijek — an initiative that develops and contributes to the local design scene. Mihael is the official Figma Community Advocate for Figma's Friends of Figma, Osijek community. He worked on tightening the connections between developers and designers communities by co-organizing Front-end Meetup Osijek and co-ordinating CodeCAMP meetups. Also, he is one of the core organizers, and design MC, of the largest ICT conference in eastern Croatia — KulenDayz.
