Human Agent vs. Agentic AI: The Battle for the Power Platform

I'll walk through the practical frameworks, architecture, and tech decisions behind implementing AI across our 50-location aesthetics and wellness business.

1. Clinic management system I built using AI and no-code tools (now handling thousands of clients and 8 figures in transactions )

2. Processing 9,300+ service images with LangChain and Multimodal LLMs for data migration (saved weeks of manual work)

3. Franchisee manuals and training tutorials created using AI tools like ElevenLabs, ChatGPT, and Krea.ai - built exponentially faster and with consistent quality that I could never achieve manually

4. AI Sales Trainer I'm currently implementing - figuring out the best approach from distribution and technical perspectives, like using LLMs as judges to score conversations

These are a few things that solve actual operational challenges in a multi-location service businesses + our own experience. 

I'll also explore something really important that a lot of people are missing, while AI agents and automations are incredibly accessible now, people are rushing to deploy them directly to customers without considering the crucial groundwork, especially around data privacy here in the Philippines. 

I'll share what I've researched and how I'm planning to move forward responsibly in our industry.

AI in Aesthetics and Wellness Industry: Real Implementation Across 50 Clinic Locations in PH

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) has exploded from experimental specification to production necessity in less than a year, and for good reason. While developers scramble to integrate AI into their applications, MCP quietly solved the fundamental problem everyone was facing: how do you give AI systems secure, standardized access to external data and tools without rebuilding the wheel every time?

This hands-on session takes you beyond the hype to understand why MCP has become the fastest-adopted protocol in the AI tooling space. We'll live-code an MCP server from scratch, connecting it to real data sources and watching it seamlessly integrate with Azure, VS Code, and other MCP-compatible clients. You'll see first-hand why companies like Microsoft, Replit, GitHub, and countless others have made MCP their go-to solution for AI integrations.

But this isn't just about following tutorials. We'll dive deep into the architectural decisions that make MCP brilliant: its bidirectional communication model, resource-centric design, and security-first approach. You'll understand why MCP succeeds where previous attempts at AI tool protocols failed, and why it's positioned to become as fundamental to AI development as REST is to web APIs.

By the end, you'll have built a working MCP implementation and gained the strategic insight to recognize when and how to leverage MCP in your own projects. Whether you're building the next AI-powered IDE or just trying to give your chatbot access to your database, MCP is the missing piece you didn't know you needed.
