Azure AI prompt flow is a development tool for AI applications powered by Large Language Models (LLMs). It simplifies the entire development cycle, from prototyping to deployment. With visualized flows, large-scale testing, and real-time endpoint deployment. Furthermore, it offers a versatile and intuitive solution for streamlined LLM-based AI development. 

Building GenAI Applications with Azure AI

This presentation highlights two critical stages in adopting Power Platform, focusing on the decision-making process for its suitability for customers' requirements and best practices for initiating its use. It aims to guide customers and consultants toward making informed choices about adopting Power Platform, considering the potential financial risks of choosing the wrong platform or a flawed implementation strategy. This also includes advising against adopting the Power Platform if it's not a suitable option.

We want to emphasize the importance of evaluating Power Platform's fit based on business processes, industry, regulatory compliance and whether more custom alternatives on Azure might be more appropriate. This first evaluation is crucial to avoid costly mistakes and ensures that if the platform is chosen, it meets the specific needs of a customer right now and in the future.

Having observed many faulty implementations over the years, we want to provide guidance on why “a real-time application with financial information” might not be a good fit for Power Platform. We will highlight how to avoid such scenarios in the first place, before they are sold as a “good solution” to the client and potentially lead to negative outcomes.

The session also offers practical advice on starting with Power Platform, including proper environment setup, subscription management, application lifecycle management, governance, and app development strategies to ensure that every business function has a suitable application. We will discuss when to integrate features into one app versus developing separate applications, aiming for a future-proof setup that is easy to maintain while utilizing the full potential of low-code/no-code SAAS platforms like the Power Platform.

Attendees will gain insights into assessing Power Platform's relevance to their needs and how to start using it effectively, ensuring it is recommended and implemented correctly for those it suits. This session targets customers and client-facing experts/consultants interested in Power Platform.

To Adopt or Not: Making an Informed Power Platform Decision and Establish a Solid Foundation

For example, consider a SharePoint site that aggregates HR-related information with an embedded CoPilot that answers employee questions and links to relevant HR policies.

In this session, we will cover these topics:

Step 1 - Configuring Microsoft Entra ID authentication for your CoPilot
Step 2 - Create a CoPilot in the Microsoft CoPilot Studio portal
Step 3 - Register your SharePoint site as a custom canvas
Step 4 - Configure the SharePoint SPFx component
Step 5 - Upload the component to SharePoint

Once the application has been added, a button will appear at the bottom of all pages in the target site. Clicking on the button will open a dialogue with a chat canvas for your copilot. Based on your Copilot's logic, users are automatically logged in at the start of the conversation or when a certain event occurs.

Business transformation through Power Applications

Microsoft Loop auf der einen Power Automate und Adaptive Cards auf der anderen Seite spielen gemeinsam mit Microsoft Copilot die Hauptrollen in unserer Reise auf dem Weg zum Zusammenspiel der  Hauptdarsteller.
Microsoft Loop entwickelt sich seit seinen Anfängen im Jahr 2021 in einem atemberaubenden Tempo weiter. Aus den Anfängen in Teamschats sind mit Outlook, Word, OneNote, Whiteboard, Teamskanäle, Planner und Co. eine Vielzahl weiterer M365 Apps mögliche Ausgangspunkte für die Nutzung verschiedener Loop Components (die sich selbst auch in einem hohen Tempo weiterentwickeln). Parallel dazu ist seit dem Going Live der Loop App im Spätsommer 2023 die nächste Ebene von Loop verfügbar. Über die Loop App können auf der einen Seite 3rd Party-Apps wie Trello, Jira oder Figma in Loop eingebunden werden und auf der anderen Seite stehe seit Anfang 2024 die ersten Einsatzmöglichkeiten für Power Automate in verschiedenen Loop Components zur Verfügung. Spätestens damit haben wir das #NextLevelCollaboration erreicht. 
Richtig interessant wird es wenn wir die Grundidee der "Atomic Units of Productivity" von Loop aufgreifen und dem Gedanken vom Zusammenarbeiten über App-und die M365-Grenzen hinweg folgen. 
Wir nutzen die Möglichkeit mit Adaptive Cards eigene Loop Components für die Integration in Teams, Outlook und Co. zu kreieren. Typische Prozeße wie Freigabe von Reisekosten, Anpassung von Kreditlimits, Kommentierungen und vieles mehr aus anderen Apps und Tools können auf Basis von Adaptive Cards dynamisch und über App-Grenzen hinweg abgebildet und vor allem integriert werden.
Sowohl in Loop als auch in Power Automate und Co. lassen wir uns dabei von verschiedenen Microsoft Copiloten unterstützen.

Next Level Collaboration mit Microsoft Loop, Adaptive Cards, Power Automate & Microsoft Copilot

In this session I will guide you through creating a fully automated Document Approval System using a PowerApp application embeded in a Teams Tab to trigger and check the status of the instances of your Document Approval process. Along with a PowerAutomate flow that will send approval adaptive cards as the Flow Bot to get the validation from the approvers and generate a PDF out of your document and put it in a validated document Team once the document is approved. From the submition to the validation the users will stay in Teams, no need to jump from sharepoint to outlook to teams.
