<p data-ms-editor="true" spellcheck="false">The audience of our workshop day focuses on all the M365 stakeholders within organizations including: administrators, architects, engineers, operations, power users, citizen developers, and more.&nbsp; The event is scheduled for Friday, October 13, 2023, meeting in person at the Microsoft Technology Center (MTC) in Edina, MN.&nbsp; This all-day event runs from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm central time and will feature workshops focused on Security/Compliance, Administration, Adoption, Automation, AI, and Collaboration.&nbsp; Each workshop will be 2 hours and 45 minutes in length, true in-depth workshop knowledge.</p>
<p spellcheck="false" data-ms-editor="true">The Minnesota Microsoft 365 User Group was started in 2017 to provide a forum for sharing Microsoft ideas and questions with peers. We meet the second Monday of the month virtually in Teams from 12:00 - 3:00 pm Central Time.&nbsp; Our Workshop Days are held bi-annually in the Spring and Fall to create a place for in-depth knowledge sharing from expert speakers around the world including Microsoft MVP's, Microsoft Regional Directors, Microsoft Product Managers and Engineers, and many subject matter experts focused on Microsoft Teams and M365. Not only do we focus on providing our community with rich technical knowledge to help them in their management of M365, but also give back every month to our local charities through the help of sponsors and our own charity giving campaigns.</p>

MN M365 11th Bi-Annual Fall Workshop Day

In this workshop we will dive into what Viva Topics is today and how it can be of value to you and your organization. 

We'll walk through the infrastructure needed to have it, look at ways to configure it within your tenant, and have an engaging discussion on approaches for rollout. 

Viva Topics- Dive into Knowledge

Many believe the new Microsoft Forms is the replacement for InfoPath and other form tools.  However, that could not be further from the truth and I am so glad that it is.  The new Microsoft Forms can increase user engagement by creating a fun and easy way to get users to provide information and learn about their company.  Forms is not only the new survey replacement but it has an additional type of form called Quiz, yes I said Quiz!!!  Excited yet?  I know I am, as many individuals will take a quiz or fill out a survey if there is a competition involved and\or some type of reward.  Forms brings all of that to the table and more!



Forms has created an engaging results overview and an option to post the results of your quizzes.  Who doesn’t like to see their name at the top of a scoreboard?  If you’re an organization that has external consultants, partners, clients, etc. well no fear as you can set surveys & quizzes to be internal only or allow for external users to participate.  Just think of ALL the possibilities!  Come join this session and let’s explore the many ways Microsoft Forms can help improve user engagement and I will show you how to send your responses to a list, and create an approval workflow.
