Install Microsoft Power BI Desktop on your laptop (recommended but not required)
We'll provide an Office 365 site for you to use for exercises

- Learn how to create Production Dashboards using Power BI, from SharePoint list and document library data
- How to use Power BI in a multitude of situations, including ad hoc analysis and the creation of formal dashboard.
- Learn the Power BI components: Power BI Desktop, PowerBI.com, Power BI mobile applications and how they can be used with Office 365 and SharePoint
- Receive an introduction into the core functions of Power BI; Data extraction, loading and transformation using Power Query Formula Language (“M”) and DAX.
- Receive some guidelines on how to extract Project data in fast manner.
- Discover some data modeling practices that will ensure you have maximum flexibility in analysis. You'll also learn some visualization best practices to ensure you can tell your digital story effectively

Guest access, external access, and shared channels all offer new ways to extend the boundaries of communication and collaboration. According to Microsoft research, IT executives report that 55 percent of all collaboration is with external business partners, and more than 300 midsize to large enterprises identified the two most common elements of collaboration that have risen in importance over the past two years:

- Fostering collaboration with a wide range of people inside and outside the organization (68%)

Microsoft Teams Governance: from A (Admins) to U (Users)

Microsoft Teams isn't only a collaboration tool, it's also an application platform with its own app store and enterprise application catalog. In this session you'll learn how to manage these applications using Teams app policies and Team templates. We'll also explore the management of Microsoft Graph permissions, which allow applications to access your tenant's Microsoft 365 data, and what Teams applications can do regardless of these permissions. Then we'll consider some common scenarios and discuss the options for handling them.
	
NOTE: While we may briefly touch on Power Platform applications, the focus of this session is on traditional applications developed for Teams or SharePoint.
