Azure AI Search provides secure information retrieval at scale over user-owned content in traditional and generative AI search applications. Azure OpenAI allows developers to integrate OpenAI's powerful AI models into their applications, leveraging Azure's robust and secure cloud infrastructure.

This session will be a combination of both case studies and how to on leveraging AI Search and OpenAI. We'll show how Search is used to power public web sites like the new www.citywindsor.ca, integrate LOB data like Dynamics and HubSpot, implement document level security, and power chat experiences with Azure OpenAI.

On the Search how-to side we'll discuss configuring your search index, querying it, applying security, and leveraging advanced features such as facets, fuzzy search, and autocomplete. On the OpenAI side we'll go over easy to deploy Git packages from Microsoft for getting started with building your own chat experience and how to integrate them into your own projects.

Lastly we'll cover Azure pricing and how to estimate your costs.
